Organisers of Cliff Top Music Festival appeal for community and business support to stage 2025 event

This year’s Cliff Top Music Festival in Highcliffe is at risk of not going ahead.

Organisers have called for community and business support to help cover the £31,000 cost of staging the event.

Ticket sales are a key part of the funding but not enough on their own.

The music festival was first held in 2023 with last year’s event taking place in September.

Writing on Facebook, the organisers, Stir Events CIC, said: “Our beloved Cliff Top Festival is at risk of not going ahead this year.

“The costs to host this fantastic event total £31,000, and while ticket sales are a key part of funding, they’re not enough on their own.

“We need community and business support to bridge the gap and there are so many ways to get involved as a sponsor:

  • Donate services: Could your business provide fencing, staffing, or toilets? Maybe sponsor a band? These contributions make a huge difference.
  • Ticket sponsorship: Help us to ensure affordable access for everyone  by sponsoring a block of tickets.
  • Get creative: Whether it’s goods, skills, or time, every bit of support helps bring our festival to life.

“The festival deadline is the end of January, and we’re calling on everyone who loves this event to step forward and be part of the solution.

“Let’s show what our amazing community can do!

“If you or someone you know can help, please reach out.

“Let’s work together to ensure the festival continues to bring joy, music and togetherness for years to come.”
