Wingstop restaurant opening in Bournemouth

Wingstop has submitted a planning application to open a new restaurant in Bournemouth, paying £574 in fees for the process.

The application seeks permission for external shopfront changes and new signage at Unit 2 on Bobby’s Bournemouth ground floor in Commercial Road, previously occupied by Franco Manca.

Planning documents state the proposals are expected to improve the safe and efficient commercial operations of the restaurant, benefiting both customers and staff.

The plans also highlight an organised system for takeaway order collections, similar to other Wingstop locations, and suggest that streamlined operations could boost economic activity in the area.

The unit is located in a primary shopping area along Commercial Way and Bournemouth Square, surrounded by other commercial and retail businesses such as Pret a Manger, Boots, Clarks, Wetherspoons, and several local enterprises.

The planning application is open for consultation until August 20 under the identifier P/26/03060/FUL, with a decision expected after the consultation period ends.
