Bournemouth Airport has put in place contingency measures to minimise disruption from planned strike action by Unite members on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
The airport says it expects to operate a full flight schedule as normal on both days, with passengers advised to check in as usual.
Further strike dates have been announced for Thursday 16 and Friday 17 October, and airport management confirmed that similar measures will be used to keep services running if those go ahead.
A spokesperson for Bournemouth Airport said they are disappointed that strike action is still being pursued, despite a previous offer that met the union’s demands and was recommended by Unite to its members.
They added that the airport remains open to constructive dialogue, while stressing that every effort is being made to maintain services for passengers travelling during the planned strikes.
