A storage company based in Poole has achieved an internationally-recognised standard for self-storage services.
Store and Secure, which is headquartered in Hamworthy, has been awarded the BS EN 15696:2008 certification covering both business and domestic customers across a range of operational and customer service areas.
The standard examines how companies handle customer enquiries, contracts, vacation processes, after sales service, insurance, risk management, operations and human resources.
Store and Secure provides a range of storage units alongside serviced office space, with staff based on site to support customers and offer advice during storage and house moves.
Lucy Maidman said the certification reviews “all aspects of the business” and confirms the company “meet or exceed all the standards”.
She said the business focuses on “a friendly and efficient service” with an emphasis on transparency, adding that customers value having staff available to answer questions in person.
The family-run company also holds Cyber Essentials certification as part of its cyber-security measures.
Lucy added: “We have a clean, secure and friendly business and we have exciting plans looking ahead.”
