A number of events and venues in and around Verwood are closed or cancelled on Sunday as a result of Storm Ciara.
Moors Valley will be closed for safety reasons – including the Junior Parkrun and Go Ape attraction. All sessions will be rebooked at a later date.
Youth football games at Potterne Park are also cancelled.
Sandbanks Ferry has confirmed it is closed for the day.
Monkey World Dorset is closed, with other attractions expected to follow. Please check before you visit.

Several warnings have been issued for the weekend with very strong winds and heavy rain forecast.
Gusts of up to 80mph are expected along coastal areas.
