A search is underway for a 14-year-old girl who was reported missing from her home address in Poole.
2pm Update: The girl has now been found.
Thousands of lights are now illuminating the Lower Gardens in Bournemouth following the launch of Christmas Tree Wonderland today.
Bournemouth One has been taking a look around the gardens from the Square to the Pier, and you can see our montage of photos here.
New for this year is a tunnel of light at the start of the trail thanks to the Council and Coastal Business Improvement District.
Bournemouth’s Santa Express is another addition for the kids, who can enjoy a train ride around the giant Santa illumination in front of the bandstand.
The centrepiece walk-through tree is lit and decorated with Christmas tree decorations this year, with laser lights shooting from the bottom of the tree. A new walk-through Christmas present completes the trail on the seafront.
The Christmas Markets opened yesterday featuring a range of festive wares alongside some tempting food and drinks, visitors can grab an indulgent hot chocolate to warm up as they wander through the trail, or a festive tipple from the Alpine Bar.
The Skate Ice Rink is also making a welcome return this year. Visitors can glide across the ice surrounded by the twinkling illuminations, with younger visitors enjoying a seat as they’re pushed around the open-air ice rink.
On Bournemouth Pier, little ones can post their letters to Santa, and the whole family can enjoy the Christmas lights from high up on the Big Wheel at Pier Approach.
For that real apres-ski feeling, Picnic on the Piste, located in the Westover Gardens area of the Lower Gardens, has live music, festive food and drink, and a glowing stepping stones trail.
There are reports of an accident on the A337 Highcliffe Road at the Hoburne Roundabout causing delays and closing Hoburne Lane around Primrose Way.
Also in this afternoon’s update, congestion on Lymington Road in Highcliffe in both directions due to roadworks outside The Globe.
It’s also busy towards Boscombe westbound on Christchurch Road, and there’s been a bump on Ringwood Road in Poole at the Mountbatten Roundabout.
And Poole Road and Blandford Road North towards the roundabouts very slow moving.
The A31 is busy between westbound West Moors and Canford Bottom with the B3073 from Wimborne also busier than usual this afternoon.
Eastbound towards Wimborne and the Lake Gates Roundabout also looking busy, as is St Margarets Hill and Victoria Road.
In Poole, roadworks continue on the A35 outside Oakdale Road Playpark, and on Bournemouth Road near Ashley Cross.
The Iford Roundabout also getting busy towards rush hour due to the roadworks on Iford Lane.
Finally, a caller reports the lane closure on the A31 towards Ringwood is being removed today – fingers crossed!
A collision between two vehicles is causing congestion around Ashley Cross on the junction of Commercial Road and Station Road.
Emergency services including Police and Ambulance are currently on the scene with traffic stopped in all directions.

An incident is causing long delays on the A338 Wessex Way following the closure of the Cooper Dean flyover in Bournemouth.
Emergency services are on the scene and traffic has been stopped. Surrounding routes including Castle Lane East, Castle Lane West and Richmond Park Road are all congested.
Castle Lane West, Whitelegg Way and New Road towards West Parley also very slow moving as traffic take an alternative route.
More Bus also reported delays on X1, X2, X3 and X6 services.
Update 1.30pm: Road has now reopened.
BCP Council has confirmed the Twin Sails Bridge remains out of action today for vehicles.
Engineers have removed the broken mast but some further mechanical issues need addressing before it can reopen. It remains closed to vehicles but open for pedestrians.
Poole Bridge is still in operation for vehicles to access Hamworthy.
Elsewhere, the A350 Poole Road is closed due to ice between The Cemetery at Upton and the A31 at the Roundhouse Roundabout.
And on public transport, South Western Railway says there are delays of around 45 minutes between Poole and Weymouth.
Flooding is causing issues around the area again this morning including in Christchurch where Matchams Lane is inaccessible.
It’s closed near the airport end between Moors Close and the Hurn Stores.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service posted: “We currently have crews in attendance at Matchams Lane in #Christchurch where the road will be being shut due to flooding.
“Please make sure you adjust your routes accordingly this morning so you are not delayed or caught in flood water.”
The A35 is congested around the Bakers Arms roundabout at Upton due to flooding on all approaches, and Magna Road is still flooded.
The B3072 Verwood to Three Legged Cross road is flooded at the junction with Potterne Way, with reports of a stranded vehicle.
Flooding has been reported between Verwood and Alderholt on Batterley Drove and Cranborne Road.
In Three Legged Cross, parts of the Woolsbridge Industrial Estate are closed with stranded vehicles stuck in the water. Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently in attendance.
Officers searching for a missing man from Bournemouth are appealing for help and information from the public to find him.
Dorset Police received a report at around 12.30pm on Wednesday 28 December 2022 raising concern for the welfare of 91-year-old Tony Worron.
He is believed to have left an address in the town on Tuesday 27 December or Wednesday 28 December 2022 in a silver Volkswagen Polo with the registration number HG62 CCF.
Tony is described as five feet six inches tall and of slight build with grey hair. He is likely to be wearing a beige or pale green anorak and dark-coloured trousers.

Chief Inspector Danny Thompson, of Dorset Police, said: “It is out of character for Tony to leave his address unexpectedly and we are concerned for his welfare.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Tony or his vehicle to please contact Dorset Police.
“Finally, if you see this appeal Tony – please contact us or your family as we all just want to make sure that you are safe and well.”

Ringwood Road in Bournemouth is closed northbound from West Howe Roundabout to Bear Cross Roundabout whilst the southbound side is down to one lane only.
Emergency repair work is being carried out by South West Water till December 23rd.
Full Emergency access will be maintained and access for residents is maintained depending on site safety.
A local diversion is in place via Ringwood Road, Canford Way, Canford Heath Road, Gravel Hill and Magna Road.
Poole Bridge is currently closed to all vehicles whilst emergency repairs are being made to the carriageway.
Pedestrian access is maintained and a diversion has been set up via Twin Sails Bridge. It’s set to reopen on Sunday.
The bridge reopened on December 16th.
The A31 is partially blocked eastbound near Burley at Poulner Hill due to a broken-down coach.
There are delays of around 30 minutes as a result, with congestion back towards Ringwood, Ashley Heath and the A338 junction.
One lane is expected to remain closed till around 11.30am.
New Road around West Parley is congested in both directions between the Parley Cross Roundabout and the Northbourne Roundabout due to emergency roadworks.
Temporary traffic lights have been installed on the A347 near the River Stour Bridge and there are delays of around 30 minutes reported.
As a result, the B3073 Christchurch Road from the airport is heavily congested westbound, Whitelegg Way northbound, and New Road from Ferndown are also busy.
Elsewhere this evening, the roadworks on the Christchurch bypass continue to cause delays on the approach on Barrack Road and Fairmile Road, whilst Canford Way has its usual rush-hour delays eastbound.

The A31 is partially blocked due to a collision involving two vans on the eastbound carriageway between the A349 Merley Roundabout and Canford Bottom.
Traffic is slow in each direction as emergency services are on the scene and part of the road is blocked.
Congestion is backing up to the B3078 Wimborne junction through to the scene of the incident.
Wallisdown Road is currently closed to traffic westbound between Canford Road and Scott Road.
Improvement works to both north and south footways are being carried out along with the installation of new cycleway.
In addition, Astbury Avenue is closed to all vehicles at its junction with Wallisdown Road and Sunnymoor Road is closed to all vehicles at its junction with Wallisdown Road.
The road closure started on October 10th and will last until Friday 16 December 2022. Works are expected to continue till January 23rd 2023.
Full Emergency Service and business access will be maintained.
A diversion is in place via Kinson Rd, Turbary Park Ave, Poole Lane and Ringwood Rd.
A crash between a car and a lorry on the A31 at Canford Bottom is causing long delays in both directions between Ferndown and Poole.
Traffic is slow moving from the B3072 West Moors junction westbound whilst eastbound traffic is backing up to the B3078 for Wimborne Road.
Congestion is also reported on the B3073 Poole Road from Wimborne centre to Gravel Hill.
Elsewhere this afternoon, Christchurch Bypass is busy due to the lane closures approaching the Fountain Roundabout, and Ringwood Road near the Millhams Recycling Centre is also congested.

The A338 Wessex Way in Bournemouth is closed tonight (Monday) till 5am from County Gates to St. Paul’s Roundabout, on both sides of the carriageway and eastbound from St. Paul’s Roundabout to Springbourne Roundabout (westbound to remain open).
