The A338 northbound between Hurn and the Ashley Heath Roundabout is experiencing heavy traffic this afternoon.
Roadworks on the A31 are causing the delays of around 50 minutes, plus the extra beach traffic leaving the area is adding to the situation.
The A31 in Ferndown also slow moving from the West Moors junction to Pinehurst Road.
Traffic is also slow from the Cooper Dean Roundabout towards Hurn.
