Fire crews from around the area are currently dealing with a small fire near Pokesdown train station.
The emergency services report it’s producing quite a bit of smoke, and are advising local residents to keep their windows and doors closed.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Fire Control first posted about the incident at 2.19pm on Thursday.
Southwestern Railway has issued this update: “Due to a problem with line-side equipment at Pokesdown all lines are blocked. Train services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 17:00 19/01.
