The game between AFC Bournemouth and Luton FC had to be cancelled after the captain Tom Lockyer collapsed on the pitch.
Players left the pitch halfway through the second half as the 29-year-old defender was carried off on a stretcher.
The Premier League has since confirmed Tom is alert and responsive following the incident.
