Lighthouse in Poole is recruiting volunteers for its autumn season, starting in September, with further opportunities expected beyond then.
The regional arts centre presents more than five hundred events each year, giving volunteers the chance to support performances and activities while experiencing world-class culture locally.
Volunteering can also help people meet new friends, become part of a social network, develop new skills and use existing experience within the community.
No previous experience is necessary, and all volunteers will receive training and support to help Lighthouse maintain its customer experience.
Volunteer Coordinator Annabel Jones said: “We’re so excited to be launching more opportunities for volunteers to get involved at Lighthouse.
“No experience is necessary; we’re just looking for people with a love for the arts and a willingness to help so that we can provide guests with the exceptional experience we’re proud of.”
Lighthouse is holding a Volunteer Recruitment Day on Saturday 25 July, from 10am until 2pm, in Function Room 2.
Prospective volunteers can register their interest by emailing Volunteering@lighthousepoole.co.uk.
