Heathers the Musical will arrive at Lighthouse Poole for five performances this autumn.
The production, based on the 1989 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, follows Veronica Sawyer as she tries to find her place at Westerberg High, where popularity shapes life for its students.
Veronica is drawn into the circle of 3 influential classmates known as the Heathers, but her growing status is challenged when JD, a new student, arrives and changes the direction of events.
Gerardine Sacdalan will play Veronica Sawyer after appearing as Juliet in the UK tour of & Juliet, while Louis Hearsey takes the role of Jason JD Dean.
Liberty Stottor will play Heather Chandler, with Jessica Ibadin as Heather Duke and Lou Henry as Heather McNamara.
The wider cast includes Veronica Carabai as Ms Fleming and Veronica’s Mum, Sophie Manners as Martha Dunnstock, Markus Södergren as Kurt Kelly and Beau Jackson as Ram Sweeney.
Other performers joining the production include Reuben Browne, Christian De-Gallerie, Ellouise Delooze, Caitlin Garcia, Alexander Howarth, Charlotte O’Rourke, Thomas Oxley, Tola Sokoya and Carys Taylor.
Heathers the Musical previously won the WhatsOnStage new musical category in 2019 and was filmed for streaming on The Roku Channel in 2022.
It will be at Lighthouse Poole from Tuesday 29 September until Saturday 3 October.
