Mike Wozniak is bringing his stand-up show The Bench to Lighthouse Poole next February.
The comedian will perform at the theatre on Saturday 27 February, following a run across the UK and Ireland that included a sellout appearance at Lighthouse earlier this year.
The Bench is described as a show in which a bench does feature prominently, although audiences are told they do not need to have any particular interest in benches to enjoy it.
Wozniak is known to television viewers from Taskmaster, Man Down and Junior Taskmaster, and is also heard on the Three Bean Salad podcast.
The show has received praise from reviewers, with The Evening Standard describing it as “deliciously distinctive fun” and The Times calling Wozniak “a comic of adorably skewwhiff charm”.
The I Paper said he has “a talent for the slightly absurd”, while The Skinny described him as “a great crafter of a story”.
The performance has an age guidance of 14 and above.
Priority booking for Lighthouse Friends opens on Thursday 4 June, before general sale begins on Friday 5 June through the Lighthouse Poole website.
