A centrally located Bournemouth hotel with extensive facilities has been sold to new owners.
The West Cliff Hotel and Spa, which is close to the beach and within reach of the university and airport, includes 83 en suite bedrooms along with a restaurant, lounge bar, conference spaces and a leisure centre.
The property was sold following an open market process managed by Christie and Co, with Dedigama Properties completing the purchase and taking on the site as a full service hotel with scope for further development.
Plans linked to the sale highlight opportunities to add more bedrooms and expand the leisure club, building on investment already made in the hotel in recent years and supporting potential business growth.
Ed Bellfield from Christie and Co said the sale offered “a truly rare opportunity” to acquire a freehold hotel in Bournemouth, adding that it attracted strong interest and “significant potential for further business growth”.
The hotel was sold for an undisclosed sum.
