Politics carnival planned in Bournemouth
Bournemouth is set to host a new Carnival of Alternative Politics, bringing debate and discussion outside traditional party structures. The event will feature talks on youth issues, culture, Europe and the future of the town centre, alongside performances and visual art. Organisers say it is about listening to different views at a time of uncertainty. A speaking contest for sixth form students will also form part of the day, judged by the area’s Labour MP.
