A new coastal restaurant, bar and boutique hotel will open in Canford Cliffs this September.
Outlaw House will take over the former Loch Fyne restaurant and hotel at 47 Haven Road during the week beginning Monday 7 September, creating around 40 jobs across the kitchen, restaurant, bar and guest rooms.
Seafood chef Nathan Outlaw has collaborated with the team on its menu, sourcing standards and kitchen mentoring, but will not run the restaurant day to day, with Executive Chef Fergus Coyle leading the kitchen.
Its seasonal menu will focus on produce from Dorset and the wider South West, including Dorset crab scones, cider-battered gurnard, roasted bass and St Clement’s cheesecake with blackberries and citrus curd.
The business says it is developing direct links with regional fishermen, farmers, growers, cheesemakers, vineyards and artisan producers, while investing in local hospitality staff, training and longer-term career development.
Founder Salar Brock said Canford Cliffs was “the perfect place” for the first venue and wanted it to showcase regional produce, suppliers and hospitality talent while becoming somewhere local people felt proud to have nearby.
Further opening and booking details will be announced shortly, while the company also plans additional Outlaw House venues across the South West.
