Families and young people can access cheaper cinema tickets at Lighthouse Poole over the summer.
The offer is available for under 18s, as well as groups which include at least 1 person aged under 18, through the Government’s Great British Summer Savings scheme.
From 25 June until 1 September, VAT on children’s tickets for family entertainment has been reduced from 20% to 5%, with Lighthouse passing on the saving for eligible cinema bookings.
Katy Griffiths, Head of Programming at Lighthouse, said the offer gives families and young people another way to visit the venue during the school summer holidays.
She said: “This is a brilliant way for families and young people to enjoy some great films in our cinema this summer.”
Lighthouse has scheduled films including Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, the latest Toy Story instalment and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, alongside its Parent and Baby screenings.
Ms Griffiths said the programme was packed with cinematic highlights across the summer, with Lighthouse continuing to provide independent cinema screenings in Poole.
The saving can be applied when booking cinema tickets by using the offer code GBFAMILY, as long as the group includes at least 1 person under the age of 18.
