NFU Mutual backs Lewis Manning Hospice

More support is heading to Bournemouth people using hospice services through a new local partnership.

NFU Mutual Bournemouth is linking new local policies taken out between 1 April and 30 September 2026 to donations for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, helping the charity continue providing free care and wellbeing support for people with life-limiting illness, families and carers.

Lewis-Manning has been delivering person-centred support across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Purbeck and East Dorset for more than 3 decades, with an approach centred on early intervention, patient independence and wellbeing, while helping people to “live well” through illness.

Nicki Cluley from Lewis-Manning said the charity is “incredibly grateful” for the support and stressed hospice care is not only for older people or those at the end of life, adding that the charity’s youngest patient is just 11.

John Heather from NFU Mutual said the team is “delighted to support” the hospice, whose specialist care brings “comfort and dignity” to local people, as the Bournemouth branch continues its long-standing work with families, businesses and organisations across the area.
