Slim Chickens opens new Poole restaurant
A new chicken restaurant has opened its doors at Tower Park in Poole this week.
Slim Chickens welcomed its first customers at midday on Wednesday 25 March, with a ribbon cutting led by players from Bournemouth Electric Ladies FC, whose kits are sponsored by the brand, marking the start of trading at the site.
To mark the launch, the first 30 people through the doors received free chicken tenders, while one visitor won free meals for a year, and thousands of Golden Tickets are being handed out over the coming days with guaranteed prizes.
The new venue is led by general manager Brandon Schneider and offers dine in, takeaway and delivery, with a menu including hand breaded tenders, wings, wraps and a range of sauces, alongside seating for more than 100 customers.
He said opening day had been “a huge success” with “a real buzz and excitement” as customers arrived, and added the restaurant aims to bring Southern hospitality and freshly prepared food to the area.
The opening has created 60 jobs locally and is part of the brand’s continued growth across the south coast, adding to existing sites in Bournemouth and Southampton.
