An Italian Easter market is coming to Poole for a two-day celebration this April.
The event will be held at Pitwines Close over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, bringing together 10 stalls, live music and a family friendly setting as visitors are invited to enjoy Italian food, drink and artisan products in Poole.
Traders will offer pastries including Pastiera tart, Sfogliatella, Cannoli and Aragostine, along with focaccia, paninis, gnocchi dishes, gelato, sorbets, charcuterie, cheeses and wines, while shoppers will also be able to browse flowers, fashion and Italian sunglasses.
Organisers say the market will feature an “authentic Italian twist”, with businesses from Poole, Bournemouth, Wimborne and Bridport taking part, including Limoncello, Vicolo, Pizzeria Valona, Casa di Vini and Baboo Gelato.
Families visiting on Sunday can also enjoy a festive giveaway, with Easter eggs being handed out as part of the event, which aims to bring “Italian culture” to Poole through food, music and seasonal celebrations.
