Police have released CCTV images after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on a bus in Poole.
The incident happened on the number 8 More Bus in the Hamworthy area at around 7.50pm on Sunday 25 January 2026, when a man approached the victim and kissed her on the cheek without her consent before returning to his seat.
Officers from Dorset Police say enquiries have been ongoing since the incident and they are now asking the public to help identify a man shown in CCTV images as part of the investigation.
Police Constable Alice Beavon said the incident was “upsetting for the young victim” and officers have been carrying out a thorough investigation to understand exactly what happened.
She added that police are now in a position to release the images and are urging anyone who recognises the man, or who has information about his identity, to come forward and contact officers.
