A Poole heating company is marking 45 years serving homes and businesses across the region.
JC Gas (Parkstone) Ltd was established in 1981 by Petra and Jeff Carrier and has continued to operate as a family business from its base in Poole, working with customers across the wider Dorset area.
Ownership has now passed to the next generation, with siblings Ash Carrier and Olivia Carrier taking on the responsibility of leading the company while maintaining the standards set by their parents more than 4 decades ago.
Petra Carrier said customer service and professionalism had always been central to the business, adding that her late husband believed work should only be completed to a standard he would accept in his own home, a principle she said Ash has continued.
Ash Carrier described reaching the milestone as “incredibly special” for the family and said the company remains built on trust, honesty and looking after customers.
Over the years, the firm has adapted to changes in technology, moving from traditional heating systems to more energy efficient installations and maintenance, while keeping its core approach consistent.
Looking ahead, the business plans to expand into air conditioning installations and maintenance, reflecting growing demand for year round comfort in homes.
Ash thanked customers and staff for their long term support, saying many local families have used the company for generations and that the business is proud to remain part of the Poole community.
