Feel like dancing? Leo Sayer coming to Poole

A veteran pop artist is set to bring a landmark tour date to Poole later this year.

Leo Sayer will perform at Lighthouse Poole on Friday 23 October as part of a UK tour that he has indicated may be his last to include an extensive run of dates across the country.

The singer, whose career spans almost 60 years, said he still enjoys performing live but plans to reduce his touring schedule, describing this run as a chance to revisit venues and audiences across the UK.

The Poole date forms part of a wider period of activity for Sayer, with an autobiography and a career-spanning box set both due for release during 2026, alongside live performances in other countries.

His set is expected to draw from a catalogue of well-known songs including Thunder In My Heart, Moonlighting, One Man Band, I Can’t Stop Loving You, More Than I Can Say, Have You Ever Been in Love and The Show Must Go On.

Leo Sayer has also achieved transatlantic number one singles with When I Need You and You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, and the Lighthouse performance will see him joined on stage by his band for a full concert hall show.
