Christmas Tree Festival returns to Highcliffe
Highcliffe Castle is preparing to welcome visitors as its Christmas Tree Festival returns in December with decorated trees created by local businesses, charities and residents.
The event will run from 5 to 23 December and will fill the Castle with a wide range of displays for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
Families will be able to follow a festive story trail through the trees while admission includes access to the Castle and the latest exhibition from the Hengist Group of Artists.
This aims to offer a varied experience combining creativity, heritage and seasonal activities for those attending.
The Castle is supporting local food banks with its “A Gift at Christmas” Tree and visitors are encouraged to bring items such as tinned food, biscuits, staple goods and toiletries.

Those who donate will receive a voucher for ten per cent off purchases in the Castle shop on the day of their visit.
Alex Dixon, Business Development Manager, said the team had worked hard ahead of the festival and looked forward to welcoming people to the Castle.
Councillor Richard Herrett said the event brings local groups together and helps support those who need assistance during the festive period while adding to the area’s seasonal celebrations.
