Mischief Makers brings spooky fun to Christchurch

A family Halloween event is set to take place in Christchurch next month, offering children a day of fun while supporting a local cause.

Mischief Makers: Spooky Edition will be held at The Treehouse on Merritown Lane on Sunday 19 October from 11am to 3pm. The day will feature all-day access to soft play, a spook hunt, potion making, and themed entertainment.

Other activities planned include mini golf, mask making, face painting, a lucky dip, and mini games. Refreshments can be brought from home, provided they are nut-free, and there will also be drinks and snacks available on site.

The event is being organised by Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, which supports children and adults with disabilities across the county. Proceeds from the day will go directly towards the charity’s work.

Mariana Swain, Events Executive at Diverse Abilities, said: “We are really excited about inviting everyone to The Treehouse for a very special Halloween celebration. Our fantastic soft play will be available for everyone to enjoy throughout the day and we’ll have lots of Halloween activities to keep the kids entertained.”

The charity hopes the event will bring the community together for a memorable day while helping raise funds for its vital services.
