A new bus service now connects Poole with Bournemouth Airport, offering a dedicated route for workers and visitors.
The YX1 service, operated by Morebus in partnership with Yunex Traffic, is designed to help employees travel to the company’s new facility at Aviation Business Park, but is open to all passengers.
The route starts at Poole Bus Station and travels through Hamworthy, Upton, Creekmoor, Broadstone and Canford Heath before reaching the airport and business park.
Morebus general manager Richard Wade said the service will benefit not only Yunex Traffic staff but also other local residents working at the airport.
The YX1 runs Monday to Friday, with a morning departure from Poole at 6.36am and an afternoon return from Aviation Business Park at 4.18pm.
