BCP LIFE discount card welcomed by residents

BCP Council’s new resident discount card, BCP LIFE, has quickly gained support from both residents and businesses across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

More than 2,000 residents have registered in the first week, and over 30 local businesses have joined to offer exclusive discounts.

The card provides savings on council-run services such as parking and swimming, as well as deals at high street shops and local attractions.

Councillor Millie Earl, Leader of BCP Council, said the early response to BCP LIFE has been very positive, with more businesses joining the scheme. She explained that the card was launched to support local communities and is pleased to see so many people getting involved.

BCP LIFE is funded by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund and matched council funding. The scheme aims to help residents save money on everyday activities, with the potential for significant annual savings for those who use council services regularly.

Local businesses can tailor their offers, and the scheme already includes a wide range of participants, from water sports providers to florists. More businesses are expected to join in the coming weeks.
