Several vehicles were damaged in Good Road, Poole, after two suspects were seen fleeing the area in the early hours of July 21st.
Dorset Police responded to reports at around 4.30am that a number of cars had been targeted, with five vehicles found to have smashed windscreens and windows.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the individuals involved. One suspect was described as wearing all black, while the other wore a grey top.
Police Constable Alice Beavon said officers are conducting detailed enquiries and encouraged anyone who witnessed the incident or has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
She also asked residents with home CCTV or doorbell camera footage, as well as motorists with dashcam recordings from the area, to contact Dorset Police.
