Detectives are searching for Richard Sean Ball in connection with the death of a woman at Paddington Grove in Bournemouth.
Officers attended the address after a report was received in the early hours, and the woman was confirmed deceased at the scene.
Her next of kin have been informed and are being kept updated as the investigation continues. A cordon remains in place at the property while police enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, which are currently being treated as suspicious.
A woman in her 30s from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and released under investigation.
Chief Inspector Nicola Jenkins said officers are urgently trying to locate Richard Sean Ball and appealed for anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
She also urged anyone who sees him not to approach but to dial 999 immediately.
Police are continuing to investigate and have asked for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in Paddington Grove between 10 June and 1 July 2026 to contact them. Officers remain at the scene and are available to speak with anyone who has concerns or information.
