Poole Quay will host four summer fireworks evenings with live music and family entertainment this August.
The events will take place on Thursdays from August 6 to August 27, beginning at 7pm, with music and street entertainment from 7.30pm before a firework finale at 10pm.
A further display is planned for Poole Quay on Thursday November 5, when the event will start at 5pm and the fireworks are due to begin at 8pm.
The programme is part of a wider summer schedule across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, with six Friday night firework displays also planned on Bournemouth seafront, east of Bournemouth Pier.
Those Bournemouth events will take place at 10pm on July 24 and 31, followed by August 7, 14, 21 and 28.
Councillor Richard Herrett said the events could bring communities together while supporting local hospitality businesses, adding that people were encouraged to explore venues before the displays.
Bournemouth Coastal BID is funding six weeks of fireworks in Bournemouth, with the organisation saying the programme could encourage longer stays and additional spending at hotels and seafront businesses.
Andy Lennox, chair of the Destination Management Board, said the displays were being maintained through collaboration across the area.
Visitors attending either programme are encouraged to plan journeys in advance, use public transport where possible, park responsibly and respect the coastline.
