Savers seeks licence to sell alcohol in town

Savers has submitted an application to sell alcohol at its Bournemouth town centre store on Old Christchurch Road.

The retailer is seeking permission for off-premises alcohol sales, with proposed hours from 7am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 5pm on Sundays.

Savers specialises in health, beauty, household and fragrance products, and operates more than five hundred stores across the UK.

The application is currently under consideration by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council. Residents and businesses who wish to object to the proposal must submit their concerns in writing to the council’s licensing team.

The application can be viewed at the council civic centre during office hours or on the council website.
