Dorset Police has ended its investigation into the death of a man in his 60s at an address in Redhill Avenue, Bournemouth.
Police were called to the sudden death on Friday 28 February 2025.
A 47-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of murder as part of the enquiries and later released under investigation.
Following detailed toxicology and pathology work, a cause of death has now been established.
Police say the criminal investigation has concluded and the arrested man will face no further action.
The deceased man’s next of kin has been kept updated throughout.
