Kingsleigh Primary and St Mark’s CofE Primary School are among 684 schools and sixth-form colleges across England receiving funding through the Condition Improvement Fund.
The grants will help schools carry out improvement works such as replacing heating systems, repairing roofs and updating electrical systems.
The Government says the funding is part of a wider programme to improve school and college buildings across England.
Bournemouth West MP Jessica Toale welcomed the announcement, saying it would help ensure local children learn in safe and suitable classrooms.
The Condition Improvement Fund is part of more than £2.1 billion being invested this year to improve the condition of school buildings.
