AFC Bournemouth forward Rayan has been included in Brazil’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 19-year-old has earned a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s senior squad following an impressive first few months at the Vitality Stadium, where he has quickly become an important attacking option since arriving from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama during the January transfer window this year.
Rayan has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 13 Premier League appearances for the Cherries, with his performances helping him secure his first senior international call-up for Brazil only months after completing his move to the south coast from his former club in Rio de Janeiro.
The Bournemouth forward made his senior Brazil debut in April after coming off the bench during a friendly against Croatia, marking another major milestone in a season that has already included regular Premier League football and growing recognition at international level for the teenager.
Before stepping up to the senior national side, Rayan represented Brazil at under-17 and under-20 level, also scoring twice as his country won the South American Under-20 Championship during 2025 as part of another successful campaign for the young forward.
