Forest Holme Hospice Charity has received a £12,714.78 donation from Harbour View Crematorium.
The money was raised through the crematorium’s metals recycling scheme, which responsibly recycles metals left after cremation.
Harbour View is continuing to support Forest Holme as its Charity of the Year for 2026.
The hospice charity says the donation will help fund specialist palliative and end-of-life care for local people, as well as support for their families.
