Bournemouth beat Fulham after red cards

Bournemouth secured a 1-0 win at Fulham after a dramatic match featuring 2 red cards.

Rayan scored the only goal in the 53rd minute, finishing with a left-footed strike from outside the box into the bottom right corner after being set up by Adam Smith.

The match changed before half time when Ryan Christie was shown a red card for Bournemouth in the 41st minute, following a VAR decision to upgrade the original card.

Fulham were also reduced to 10 men shortly afterwards, as Joachim Andersen was sent off in first-half stoppage time after another VAR review.

Bournemouth had chances either side of the goal, with Junior Kroupi hitting the bar from outside the box in the 51st minute and Marcus Tavernier forcing 2 saves from Bernd Leno after the break.

Fulham pushed for an equaliser late on, with Kevin denied by Djordje Petrovic and Josh King hitting the bar in stoppage time.

There was further late pressure from the home side, including a blocked effort from Rodrigo Muniz, but Bournemouth held firm to secure the away victory.
