Two men have been arrested following an incident on the Sandbanks Ferry.
Dorset Police said it received reports of an altercation involving a knife shortly before 9pm on 4 May.
A second confrontation was also reported nearby in Sandbanks.
A 25-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of weapons offences, racially aggravated public order offences and affray.
A 35-year-old man from Poole was also arrested on suspicion of affray.
Police confirmed no injuries were reported and enquiries are ongoing.
