A local election candidate in Bournemouth has had her mobility scooter stolen and later recovered dumped at the roadside.
Emily Woodward, who is standing for Green Party in the Boscombe and Pokesdown ward, relies on the scooter due to a chronic illness.
The purple X500 Midi Sport LuXe scooter was taken overnight between April 27 and 28 and later found filled with rubbish and dirt.
Emily says the loss has affected her ability to campaign in the run-up to polling day, as she depends on the scooter for daily mobility.
Dorset Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing, with no arrests made so far.
The scooter is now being assessed for repairs, with support from the local community.
