Bournemouth and Poole College has been recognised for “exceptional practice” in adult learning.
The praise follows an external quality review by NCFE.
Inspectors highlighted strong outcomes for learners and the wider community across a range of courses.
Subjects include mental health, autism awareness, counselling skills and business-focused qualifications.
Around 2,000 adult learners have taken part in fully funded online courses this academic year.
The college reports a 98 per cent satisfaction rate, with most learners saying their confidence improved.
Course leader James Sewell said the programmes help remove barriers to education and support personal and professional development.
Reviewers also praised the college’s leadership and learner-focused approach.
The college says it will continue expanding its adult education offer to support lifelong learning.
