Bournemouth Pavilion has received a unique donation as it prepares for its centenary in 2029.
A collection of autograph books belonging to former employee Lorna Hussey has been donated by her son.
The books date back to the 1930s and offer a glimpse into the theatre’s golden age of live entertainment.
They include handwritten messages, photographs and memorabilia from performers who appeared at the venue.
Among the items are signed photographs of Gracie Fields, one of the biggest stars of the era.
The collection will now be preserved in the Pavilion archive for future generations.
The venue is owned by BCP Council and operated by BH Live.
Organisers say the donation helps bring the Pavilion’s history to life and are encouraging others to share memories or artefacts.
