A nursery in Poole has been temporarily suspended following concerns raised during an Ofsted inspection.
Ofsted visited Little Beans Day Care in Garland Road on April 14 and reportedly identified issues relating to safeguarding.
The nursery has been closed with immediate effect, with parents asked to make alternative childcare arrangements.
In a letter to families, the nursery said it was working to address the concerns and hoped to reopen as soon as possible.
It added that recent staff changes meant it needed to ensure safeguarding procedures were fully understood and properly followed.
The nursery has apologised for the inconvenience and said it is cooperating with inspectors to resolve the issues quickly.
Officials say safeguarding standards must be met at all times to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
