Cherries earn point away at West Ham

AFC Bournemouth claimed a battling point after a goalless draw at West Ham United.

Clear chances were limited but both goalkeepers were called into action, with Djordje Petrovic producing important saves early on from close range and again in the second half, while at the other end Alex Scott and Rayan tested Mads Hermansen from distance.

The best opening of the game fell to Rayan just after the hour mark when he struck the left post following a quick break, as Bournemouth began to carry more threat and forced a series of corners during a competitive spell.

West Ham pushed late on, with Callum Wilson and Jarrod Bowen both going close in the closing minutes, but Bournemouth stood firm defensively, introducing fresh legs including Adam Smith and Ryan Christie to see out added time and secure a deserved clean sheet on the road.
