Bournemouth came from behind to earn a one all draw against Aston Villa at the Vitality Stadium.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half when Morgan Rogers scored from a tight angle after Bournemouth had created several early chances, including efforts from Evanilson, Rayan and Alex Scott that were either blocked or saved.
Bournemouth responded with intensity after the break and were level ten minutes into the second half when Rayan drove into the area and finished low into the corner, with James Hill supplying the assist following sustained pressure.
The home side controlled long spells of the second period, forcing repeated corners and testing Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, while Marcos Senesi went close late on when his header from close range flew just over the crossbar in added time.
Villa threatened on the counter through Ollie Watkins and Matty Cash, but Djordje Petrovic produced several important saves, as Bournemouth’s late push failed to produce a winner and both sides settled for a point.
