AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Will Dennis has joined Leyton Orient on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old will spend the rest of the campaign at Brisbane Road, linking up with Richie Wellens’ side, who are currently 18th in League One. The move gives Dennis regular senior football as the Cherries continue to support his development.
This is Dennis’s sixth loan spell away from Bournemouth. He has previously represented Guernsey, Weymouth, Wealdstone, Slough Town and Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock. During his time in Scotland in the 2023 to 2024 season, he made 44 appearances in all competitions and kept eighteen clean sheets.
Dennis has made one senior appearance for Bournemouth, playing in the four one FA Cup win against Oldham Athletic in 2021. He has also been named in forty one Premier League matchday squads under head coach Andoni Iraola, underlining his role within the first team group.
The club says the loan move will allow Dennis to gain further experience while remaining part of Bournemouth’s long term plans.
