Businesses across Dorset can now explore and buy new and used vans locally after a dedicated Van Centre opened just off the A31 on Ringwood Road.
The new Hendy Van Centre has been created by repurposing the former used car and van site, giving local firms a single location to view, test drive and purchase light commercial vehicles suited to a wide range of working needs across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and surrounding areas.
The showroom initially focuses on Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle electric range, including the all electric PV5, which uses a modular design intended to support different uses such as cargo transport, passenger travel and specialist conversions for accessibility or food services.
Later in the first quarter, the centre is set to add new vans from Nissan, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroën, Renault and Fiat, making it the only multi brand light commercial vehicle showroom serving the area.
Used vans sold from the site come with a three month warranty and a ninety point inspection, while staff are available to advise sole traders and larger businesses on suitable options.
John Stone said the centre was opened to help time limited local tradespeople compare vehicles under one roof and access specialist guidance close to home.
