Poole gala ball returns to support Dorset disability charity

Dorset disability charity Diverse Abilities will host its eighth Gala Ball at Lighthouse Poole this November to raise funds for its work across the county.

The event, sponsored by Franses Jewellers of Bournemouth, will take place on Saturday 22 November and will help support the two thousand children and adults that the charity works with each year.

Guests will be welcomed with a drinks reception before an evening of dining, music, entertainment, games and fundraising activities. The programme also features a live auction and the chance to win prizes throughout the night.

Demi Tarrant, events executive at Diverse Abilities, said: “The Gala Ball is always a spectacular night, and without a doubt one of the highlights of our events calendar. What better opportunity to get dressed up, enjoy a delicious three-course meal and dance the night away to our live band, all whilst raising money to support children and adults with disabilities in Dorset.”

The charity has thanked its sponsors for enabling the event to return. “A big thank you goes to our generous sponsors as we would not be able to host this event without their support. We’re so grateful for the support of Franses Jewellers, Colten Care and Forelle Estates.”

Money raised from the evening will go towards supporting children and adults with disabilities, helping the charity continue its work across the county.
