Odyssey to headline Cliff Top Music Festival in Highcliffe this September

Disco and soul favourites Odyssey will top the bill at this year’s Cliff Top Music Festival in Highcliffe, promising a day of live 70s and 80s hits on the Dorset coast.

Odyssey are known for hits including Native New Yorker and Going Back to My Roots.

The event, on Saturday 6 September, runs from 11am to 7pm and will be hosted by Dave Norrell, also known as Mr D.

Joining Odyssey on stage will be the Sound of Soul Choir, Soul Sonics, All About Abba, Madison Heights Soul Experience, and Immaculate Vibes featuring Jessica Lovelock.

Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy artisan and hot food stalls, a funfair, and family entertainment including Punch and Judy, stilt walkers, and a “meet the mermaid” experience.

A weather shelter will be on site to keep people comfortable in all conditions, and the cliff top location offers views over to the Isle of Wight.

A new “Fund a Fence” scheme invites local businesses and residents to sponsor sections of event fencing and display their banners. Headline sponsor Highcliffe and Walkford Parish Council is joined by other local companies, community members, and anonymous supporters.

The festival is organised by Stir Events CIC with help from Stir Team volunteers, Highcliffe Scouts, New Forest Litter Pickers, and Rotary, the chosen charity partner. Park and Ride facilities will be in place for easier travel to and from the site.
