Jet2 has confirmed that five routes due to launch from Bournemouth Airport in summer 2026 have now been withdrawn, following a review of its flying schedule.
The airline, which began operating from Bournemouth in February this year, had originally planned to expand its offering by basing a third aircraft at the airport next summer.
However, flights to Malaga, Dubrovnik, Jersey, Reus and Verona will no longer go ahead as planned. A previously announced route to Kos is still expected to launch.
Customers who had booked seats on the cancelled routes will be contacted directly and issued a full refund, according to the company.
Jet2 began operating from Bournemouth last year with 16 initial routes to destinations across Spain, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.
A spokesperson said: “As a successful business, we are continually reviewing our flying programme and will adjust where required. This gives us the ability to add flights and holidays in response to demand, and very occasionally we may withdraw flights too.
“Following this latest review, we have taken the decision to withdraw services to Malaga, Dubrovnik, Jersey, Reus and Verona for Summer 26 from Bournemouth Airport. Where customers are affected, we will contact them, and they will receive a full refund.”
The airline added that a full programme of services is still available from Bournemouth Airport for summer 2026.
