Parents and carers in Dorset can now access free support through a new mobile app designed for families with children aged five and under.
Dorset Council has launched the EasyPeasy app for all residents, offering tips, activities and advice to support early childhood development.
The app includes thousands of ideas tailored to a child’s age and stage, using everyday materials and routines to help make learning playful and accessible.
It covers key topics such as wellbeing, nutrition, bedtime routines, speech and language development, and mindfulness.
Users can also share their own parenting experiences and tips, helping to build peer support across the county.
The app is available to parents, carers, and early years practitioners and is intended to offer simple, practical help during the early years of a child’s life.
Councillor Clare Sutton from Dorset Council said, “This is part of our ongoing commitment to make sure our children have the best start in life.”
She added, “Those early years are a time of great change with lots of new skills to learn and challenges for those who look after our youngest children.”
The EasyPeasy app is free to download now for anyone living in the Dorset Council area.
