Man due to appear in court after three people are seriously injured in two-car collision in East Dorset

A man is due to appear in court in connection with a serious injury collision in East Dorset.

At around 9.30pm on Monday 5th August last year, Dorset Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Wimborne Road East near Ferndown.

It was reported that a black Audi A1 failed to stop for officers in the area of the Canford Bottom Roundabout, before it made off towards Stapehill and collided with a blue Vauxhall Zafira near the Pure Drop pub.

Three people were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Following enquiries by the Serious Collision Investigation Team, a 21-year-old man from East Dorset has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 25th April for an offence of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
