Poole Bridge in Poole was closed on Wednesday evening by both ways due to an incident involving a car.
This incident was first reported on Bournemouth One on Wednesday evening (12/03/2025 8:33pm), with BCP Council being the source.
An update from the council says: “Please be aware that there has been an incident with a car causing damage to Poole Bridge this evening and the bridge will be raised and closed to traffic until further notice.
“Twin Sails bridge is operating as normal. We will provide an update tomorrow.”
The bridge reopened on Thursday morning around 10am.
